Commerce Partners guide
Three peak-season checks you can start today
You can test product discoverability, creative-production capacity and AI-answer visibility without waiting for a new commerce platform or a long strategy project. This guide gives you one concrete check for each. It also points to three tools you can evaluate now: Geoffy for product-page discovery, Begen's AdMultify for campaign variations, and Benext's BeCited for an AI-answer baseline.
"Start today" means you can run the checks and take the first product-specific step today. It does not mean every integration, campaign asset or improvement will be complete today.
Peak-season plans often focus on traffic and offers. But three questions are worth answering before you put more budget behind a campaign: Can customers and AI tools understand your products? Can your team produce the creative the campaign needs? And can you see whether AI answers mention your brand accurately?
You do not need a replatforming project to begin. Set aside a short working session, bring five priority products and one upcoming campaign, and record what you find. The first checks are manual; the tools below can help you move from observation to action.
1. Check product discoverability
Do this now: Choose five products you expect to promote. For each product page, try to answer these questions without relying on internal knowledge:
- What exactly is the product, and who is it for?
- What makes it different from plausible alternatives?
- Are important specifications, limitations and claims stated plainly?
- Do the page, product data and structured data tell the same story?
- Is anything a buyer would need to decide missing or out of date?
Record the URL, the missing information and the person who can verify it. Do not fill gaps with marketing claims that your product data cannot support.
Where Geoffy fits: Run the free GEO Score for an initial view of where your domain may be missing from AI-shopping answers. If your store uses Shopify or WordPress, Geoffy says its Optimise capability is available now to improve product-page answers and the matching structured-data layer on your own site. Its Monitor and Influence capabilities are in early access, so discuss those separately rather than treating them as part of an immediately available rollout.
Next action: Correct the facts on your highest-priority pages first. Then decide whether Geoffy is a fit for applying that work across the catalogue.
2. Check creative production capacity
Do this now: Take one approved key visual for an upcoming promotion. List every version the campaign needs: placements, dimensions, messages, markets and offer variants. Then mark which versions exist, which need manual production and which are waiting for approval.
This exposes a practical constraint: a campaign can be ready in the calendar while its assets are not ready to publish.
Where Begen / AdMultify fits: AdMultify is built to turn a key visual and supporting assets into multiple ad variations. Its stated workflow is to upload the visual, fonts and data feeds; map the assets; preview and refine; then generate the variations. The site offers a demo, so position this as a workflow to evaluate and start using, not as a promise that a retailer can produce approved ads without onboarding or review.
Next action: Choose one campaign and test whether the generated formats meet your brand and channel requirements. Keep the approval step with your team.
3. Check AI-answer visibility
Do this now: Write down five questions a real customer might ask before buying in your category. Include at least one comparison question and one question about a specific product need. For each answer, note the date, the AI service used, whether your brand appears, which competitors appear and which sources are cited.
Treat this as a baseline, not a definitive ranking. AI answers can change, so keep the questions consistent when you check again.
Where Benext / BeCited fits: BeCited offers a free instant report for a domain, including a CITE score, an SEO Health score and prioritised fixes. Its free report covers Perplexity and Gemini; broader engine coverage depends on the plan. The score is free and requires no credit card; the full report may ask for an email. Use it to identify gaps and select work to do, not to promise that a particular fix will secure a citation.
Next action: Separate problems you can fix on your own site, such as unclear facts or weak content, from gaps that depend on independent third-party sources. Make the first changes, then rerun the audit and compare dated results.
Turn the checks into a plan
At the end of the session, you should have three concrete outputs: a list of product-page facts to correct, a list of campaign assets that will delay launch, and a dated record of where your brand does or does not appear in AI answers.
Pick one owner and one next action for each. If the biggest gap is product clarity, start there. If production is holding up the campaign, test the creative workflow. If you cannot tell whether AI answers represent your brand accurately, establish the measurement baseline. The tools address different jobs; you do not need to buy all three to make progress.

Product descriptions and availability should be checked again before publication. A tool may be relevant to a problem without being the right fit for every retailer.
